From Letterkenny take the N56 heading in the direction of Dunfanaghy / Dungloe. About one mile after passing through Kilmacrennan (Cill Mhic Réanáin) take the road on the left, joining the R251, signposted for Gweedore (Gaoth Dobhair) and Glenveagh National Park (Páirc Náisiúnta Ghleann Bheithe. Take sharp left at first sign for Dún Lúiche. Follow the road downhill for approximately 1km. Glen Heights is the ninth house on the left hand side.

Dunlewey is a community of some 200 people, located on the slopes of Mount Errigal in the North West of Donegal. It is a narrow valley bounded to the north and south by the mountains. The community is separated from the southern side of the valley by the Upper and Lower Dunlewey Lakes. Dunlewey is on the direct route west from Letterkenny to the seaside communities of Bunbeg and Derrybeg, which with Dunlewey form the parish of Gweedore. It is some 40km from Letterkenny and 12km from Bunbeg.
